Usage note
“眼”指眼睛，是我们看东西的器官，也用来形容视力或目光。
“Yǎn” zhǐ yǎnjīng, shì wǒmen kàn dōngxi de qìguān, yě yòng lái xíngróng shìlì huò mùguāng.
“眼” means eye, the organ we use to see things, and is also used to describe eyesight or gaze.
Context note
小朋友要保护眼睛，不要长时间看电视。我们可以说“大眼睛”或者“明亮的眼睛”。
Xiǎo péngyǒu yào bǎohù yǎnjīng, bùyào cháng shíjiān kàn diànshì. Wǒmen kěyǐ shuō “dà yǎnjīng” huòzhě “míngliàng de yǎnjīng”.
Children should protect their eyes and not watch TV for too long. We can say “big eyes” or “bright eyes.”
