fù shì biǎoshì zhīfú de yìshēng. rúguǒ zài gǔsù mǎi guǒqi, māma huì kěnéng shuō: ‘zhèbān jièzi píngguǒ fàng jìn gòucūrén lǐ, huíjiā hòu wǒmen zài fù qián.’
付 means to pay. For example, when buying apples at a supermarket, your mom might say: 'Put these apples in the shopping cart; we will pay for them when we get home.'
